HELP: interior extruding rings

Hey yall, i'm trying to add interior rings to this model, but whenever i try extruding a cylinder it cuts off the inner section. Is there a good way to add these interior rings?

File > export > save as f3d on local drive  > attach to post

Set extrude to Join or New Body, before the Ok.
