Having trouble downloading Fusion 360 on Mac OSX 10.11.6

Hi I am trying to download Fusion on my Mac and it has El Capitan 10.11.6 and it allows me to begin the process then when the installer is about to pop up the screen goes blank. Here is a pic for reference

Dang, I was really hoping since the Mac is only 3 years old that it would be ok but I gotcha. Thank you for your reply
