Having issues with locked/un-editable sketches

I previously drew this bracket up with dimensions given by the supplier but now I can't seem to edit the sketches anymore. It isn't just this bracket, it's also other components that I have previously draw from scratch (not imported) that I can't seem to edit to make necessary changes. This is noted by the lock symbol that are on some of the sketches shown in the picture.

If anybody could point me in the right direction to fixing this you would have my many thanks.

Oh and I've only been having this issue since the last update. Don't know if it's related or not but just throwing that out there

I've saved the bracket as a separate design as so I can provide a share link if that helps.

Hi Michael,

The first two elements in the Timeline are base elements, that were created without history.
The first (Base 2) is empty.
The second (Base 1 > contains sketches 1 and 3 and body 1).
This is how you deal with the sketches in base elements:

sketch editing in base elementssketch editing in base elements

@g-andresen

Thanks.

I now understand that the only way I seem to be able to edit sketch 1 and sketch 3 is to turn the timeline off, edit the sketch, then turn them back on. I didn't realise that any sketch made when the timeline isn't active is no longer editable when the timeline is turned back on.
