Handle Parts wont Combine

I'm trying to finish this Scissor Blade for printing, to get the handle shapes just right I modeled each piece independently and figured I could just combine them into one piece later. Unfortunately, It isn't letting me combine all of the handle pieces together.

File attached below for any who may be able to troubleshoot why it won't connect.

There is some really strange geometry going on here:

I'll have to investigate further and go through the timeline. but it'll likely be tomorrow.

Hadn't noticed that spot, I'll fiddle around and see what I can do to fix that zone

Fiddled for about an hour and am still unsure how to fix the handle for combination.
