Groups Erase Mass Properties from a Component

I've just recently come across something weird that really doesn't make sense. When I create a group inside the body folder of a component to keep myself organized, as seen from the component, this effectively wipes the overall mass properties of everything that I put inside the group. I know that a solution is to just create subcomponents out of those bodies as I go, but that would basically require a complete rebuild of the large model I'm working on. Is this a bug or a purposeful feature, or am I just missing something? I've attached some screenshots of a simple example of what I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That looks like a bug to me @Phil.E

This might be as-design.

I only say that because the body group has properties.

But I agree, it seems strange. I need to ask about the reason the top level loses properties for items in groups. This could be a bug. Thanks for reaching out.
