Graphics Help

I recently had to update Fusion and my graphics drivers at the same time, and now they seem to not work together. The only graphics option that does not bring up a black screen with the AUTODESK Fusion logo is DirectX 9 but the viewport is low res and grainy. I have AMD Radeon graphics, Ryzen 6000 and my machine has run Fusion quite well for a couple years. I have gone through the AMD site multiple times to make sure my drivers are up to date. I did a clean uninstall of Fusion and reinstalled with the same problems. I am on an education license as well and included a couple pictures of what is happening. TIA

Hi @fannonjacob03 Thank you for reporting!

Could you please let me know whether you are running on a laptop with dual graphics cards? If yes, please disable the integrated one and see if it turns better for Fusion on DirectX11.

Thanks,

Lisa

Thank you @fannonjacob03 !

Good to know the problem can be resolved by disabling one GPU device, however, it looks you are disabling the AMD Ryzen 6000, the discrete graphics card, does it work if you disable the other one but enable the AMD Ryzen 6000?

Thanks,

Lisa

Yes. I tested it both ways and while Fusion did fully load with either driver, there was much more lag when moving objects around using the discrete graphics card. The viewport is still somewhat fuzzy with either graphics enabled. Looks like early 2000's 3D CAD and not as smooth and sharp as the Fusion graphics usually are.

Update: I found a previous topic with similar problems, also using AMD graphics. I tested if moving fusion from the laptop screen to an external monitor worked and it does. Normal graphics, no lag. Both graphics drivers enabled. I've included the graphics diagnostic from this.
