Graphics Diagnostic showing Integrated Graphics Card instead of dedicated AMD!

Hi

I haven't used Fusion 360 on this laptop much...yet. I intend to soon. It's always appeared slow. Today I took note of the message saying that my graphics card may not be optimal and looked at the Graphics Diagnostic. It shows that my graphics card is an integrated one. This is true to an extent, but the laptop has an AMD R7 card installed with updated drivers.

How can I get Fusion to use the AMD card?

Thanks

Justin

Have a look here, basically you need to configure it to use the other graphics card. Like so:

AMD

  1. Update to the latest video driver here.
  2. Right-click the desktop and choose "Configure Switchable Graphics."
If this is not available, try choosing "Catalyst Control Panel" and then click the "Power" tab on the left and choose "Switchable Graphics."
  3. If Fusion 360 is in the list, select the "High Performance" option for it.
If it is not in the list, use the Browse button to manually select %LOCALAPPDATA%Autodesk\webdeploy\production\ \Fusion360.exe
  4. Select Apply.
