Glyphs

New to 360, on my 3rd attempt to get started.

Glyphs,  what do they mean,   I create a rectangle and several appear, the help I can find says click and hold to see what a glyph represents, so I do this on three totally different glyphs and they ALL say  "Sketch Geometry Constraint"  WOW !!    Didn't I already know that BUT WHAT specific constraint?

Is there a help page that shows all glyphs and what they mean?

Hi @Anonymous,

So constraints will automatically appear based on the shape you are creating as well as where you snap your geometry to. For instance - when you go to snap a point, pay attention to the shape of the cursor. For instance, you will notice sometimes a triangle will pop up next to an X (this would be a midpoint constraint), or a rectangle signifying a coincident constraint. There is some good learning content available here regarding automatic constraints.

Regarding a full list - I was able to find a list of all the constraints with a brief overview here. Unfortunately, it does not show the glyph next to the constraint type. However, within Fusion 360, whenever you are in a sketch there is the sketch palette. Within the sketch palette is a full list of the constraints as well as the glyph right next to it.
