Glass Opacity

I am currently trying to model and render a glass medicine bottle I have on my desk, which is quite opaque and has a dark brown color. However, when I go to render it, the preset bronze glass material is way to transparent. Is there any parameter or way to make the glass more opaque when rendering? Any help is appreceated.

The absorption distance controls this. The closer you get that to the thickness of your glass object the more light will be absorbed.

I did try messing around with that and changing it, but it still looked way too transparent when I changed to the exact thickness of the glass. For a pretty dark brown color on .1-.15 inch thick glass, what would you suggest for the absorption thickness?

After messing around a bit more I found that 1.5-1.75 inches worked well for .15 inch thick glass to achieve that medicine glass look. Thanks for the help
