Fusion360 Login Problem / MacOS / Safari or FireFox

I'm unable to log into Fusion360, though I'm able to log into my Autodesk account. This behavior with either Safari 17.5 (latest version) or FireFox (also latest version).

What occurs is that Fusion sends me to the web browser for authentication, which occurs without issue. Then the browser sends me back to Fusion where the popup window said a sign-in error occurred.

There is little relevant information in the how to fix referral from Fusion, but turning of Safari's cross site tracking is of no help.

I'm at a loss having looked at older threads via a Google search with respect to other uses who have encountered the same problem. None of these threads help resolved the problem.

Help!

@sstratmoenKWNA3 Can you please attach log files here?

1. Go to Launch pad
2. Run Fusion service utility
3. Gather system info
4. This will generate two zip files
5. Attach the Fusiondiagnosticslogs.zip

I ran the Fusion service utility where after a long runtime it ran my machine out of memory with the MacOS throwing an error. Crazy but there you have it.

That said I tried using the util's repair and clean, retesting Fusion360 still hitting the login issue. Note the login error only is now a problem, where while I updated Fusion360 the problem was present before and after the update. Though this has never been a historic issue.

Thoughts?

@sstratmoenKWNA3 if the log file collection is not working can you please manually collect the "service logs" from the location that this article calls out, please?

@sstratmoenKWNA3 The logs did give us some clues and I honestly thought I replied to this post. My apologies.

1. First to try is to update the Autodesk Identity

Go to https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/tsarticles/ts/z0hbzhTNDhtrN6D0LZl5b.html
Download the package from there and update

Restart machine

Start Fusion now

Does that help?

2. IF you go the firewall of the Mac and turn it off- can you run Fusion now?

Installation of Autodesk Identity solved the problem. No change to the firewall was required.

Thank you,

Scott
