Fusion360 crashes / closes after update

Fusion360 made an update today. Before it was running fine.

Now when I (try to) start Fusion, I get a message "Fusion update: you have the most current version" (roughly / translated from german version). The the Fusion window immediately closes. I tried several times--behaves always the same. Rebooting the computer did not help.

Is there anything I can do (besides trying to reinstall the complete program)?
