Fusion360 can't connect to internet + starts slow

Hi there,

 

I'm new to this forum but I've had Fusion on my mac for a while now and it has worked well with no issues.  A couple weeks ago though I started having stability issues when booting up the app including very slow starting up, starting up but throwing up a blank white window, and fully starting but then having very spotty connection to the internet.  My actual internet connection is definitely functioning properly (I checked) so I'm confused why this is happening.  I've tried a clean uninstall and reinstall, starting it up with no usb accessories connected or my monitor, deleting the XMLMachineOptions and LoginState files, and updating my OS, browser (Brave) and making sure some of the certificates are always allowed to authenticate in my browser settings.  

 

The only potential problem I self-diagnosed was that I am signed up for my autodesk account through my school, and I can see in the log that it looks like it is trying to access some URL that is linked to my school (maybe the SSO?) and it is failing.  I tried to attach the log files but there doesn't seem to be an option to.
