This message comes up for my students after renewing educational access to Fusion 360. Its also coming up on my instructor computer. I clicked on the link and did the troubleshooting recommended, but it still wont load. Fusion seems to install completely, but when it would begin to open this error appears. I have 1 computer in the entire lab that for whatever reason will load Fusion and run it. All the computer settings are identical. Anyone have any suggestions to get my classes up and running? Thanks for any input!

@kwertmanX3F6N Can you confirm this version of Fusion you are on? 2.0.19994 is our latest update.

Also for the above problem, could have things to try. First make sure that the system time is in sync (Out of sync clock time can cause authentication problems). The second to try is

  1. Close Fusion
  2. Go to  C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Identity Services\idservices.db

Can you delete the idervices.db file and then restart Fusion?

According to my IT guy the time is correct on all computers. He says it syncs automatically with a time server

  1. Close Fusion
  2. Go to  C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Identity Services\idservices.db

Can you delete the idervices.db file and then restart Fusion?

The IT person says this file to delete does not exist on my computer

I have no administrative rights to make anything but very simple changes on the computers. Any information I can get to solve the problem I will share with the IT department.  Currently, Fusion is not usable for any of my students.

@kwertmanX3F6N On your machine can you search for this file idservices.db? Its possible that you installed as admin install. Can you confirm the location that Fusion is installed?

Also, on any one of the machines if you right click and select "Run as admin" is Fusion launching?

This is copy paste from the IT guys email response .....

That file does not exist.  It was installed from an admin installation/deployment.

Fusion install: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\6a0c9611291d45bb9226980209917c3d

@kwertmanX3F6N Thank you for confirming. So in the screen shot in the original post I see multiple Autodesk products being installed. So here is the ask on this machine.

1. Close Fusion
2. Right click and Run as admin - Does that launch the product?

1. Close Fusion
2. Install Autodesk Identity manager - https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/tsarticles/ts/7zbgTemIhA3ltRs4eACL0g.html
3. Restart the machine and now launch Fusion

Results to both of these will give us a direction of where to go next I it does not work.

@kwertmanX3F6N I was expecting the Identity manager install to solve the issue. I assume you are getting the same error after all these tests.

Can you please collect log files from this machine?

1. Go to add/remove program
2. Select Autodesk Fusion - MODIFY
This will launch the Fusion service utility
3. Run the Gather system info that will generate two zip files
4. We need the Fusiondiagnosticslogs.zip

If for any reason the service utility does not run then you can manually collect the logs following this article. We will need application, install and service logs.

From a network perspective, is this connected to a LAN? IF this is wifi connected is it possible to connect to say a mobile hotspot and see if the results are different?
