Fusion will not launch

When I try to launch Fusion nothing happens. When I click on the icon there's nothing. Worked great for the last seven or eight months but not all now..

I tried following along with the Autodesk website following all their instructions but nothing happened. I uninstalled everything Autodesk. I could not uninstall the Licensing.sds. I then downloaded Fusion so that I could get the uninstaller. Then tried to uninstall again and still cannot get rid of the all desk licensing SDS file.

However I did get a fresh copy of fusion. Yet, like the last one, it still would not open when I click on the icon. The computer hovers over it and starts acting like it's going to open something but nothing ever happens.

I've tried everything I could to get this thing going. Does anybody have any suggestions?

If your operating system is Windows, I would suggest creating a new profile, having an administrator access rights,  and install Fusion 360 under it.

We confirmed I was the Administrator

We updated the Graphics Card, AMD Radeon HD 7570M

We add OPENGL to environment variables

Still no change

What I was trying to indicate to you is that sometimes a user profile can become corrupt.  Just confirming you are the administrator of your current profile may not be enough.

Hi @douglassba

Can you collect your log files and post them here?

Thanks,

I can use the online Fusion and see the file I have saved to the server. However, I'm having difficulties importing files saved on my computer. plus there is lag time, very frustrating.

I need to erase the "AdskLicensingService.sds" file when uninstalling Autodesk form my from my computer so I can then do a new install. However, these file will not go away. I've tried everything to do this except for the right way to erase the sds.

Not sure what to do next.

Here are my post. I have an Educator license with Autodesk. I think the only way to fix this problem is to become a paying customer. If I can't figure out a way to launch the program, or uninstall the "AdskLicensingService.sds". I'll pay. I think not being able to uninstall, delete, cut or remove the "AdskLicensingService.sds" is preventing me from downloading a clean, new program. I mean, what else can it be? As far as I can tell my graphics card drive has been updated and works fine. All this started sometime close to a windows update, but who knows? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not really sure how to get the files. I tried 2 times to uninstall Fusion and all Autodesk programs and files. All is gone but the AdskLicensingService.sds.

Last time around I follow the Autodesk instructions to remove the AdskLicensingService.sds removal with Autodesk Uninstall tool. However, that did not work either.

I then downloaded Fusion for a 3rd time. I have Fusion on my start and icon on my desktop. Yet when I click on either, nothing happens.

@douglassba I see that the first post on this thread says that you cannot launch Fusion, and then a post saying you could but had import issues . You uninstalled again and now you cannot launch Fusion again? I am also trying to understand why you are trying to delete AdskLicensingService.sds.

When Fusion did launch for you, did you get a
subscription expired notification?

I cannot open Fusion from my computer. Yes I can go online and use the online Fusion but that's not the same. I have files on my computer that I need to work on.

The reason I'm trying to uninstall it is because Autodesk said that you need to do a clean uninstall so you can do a new install. However, I cannot do a complete uninstall. Any information about the current license stays on the computer. The current version is corrupted.

It's very frustrating. Not sure why it won't launch, but no matter what I do, it will not launch, any help would be greatly appreciated.
