Fusion using "Documents" folder on Wrong Drive ?

Hi everyone!

I am new to Fusion360 and I have been it enjoying a lot so far.

One problem I am having right now is Fusion360 using a wrong drive.

I have three drives:

1. 500GB SSD <=This is where "Windows 11 Pro" and all programs (incl. Fusion360) are installed

2. 4TB HDD <= This slower drive I am using to store files. My "Documents" folder is also here.

3. 4TB NVMe SSD <=This is where I keep big files that I am actively using for programs/calculations/simulations. This is where "Temp files" folder of my Windows located (I changed it via SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe=>Environment Variables)

I am working on one project where I am converting a large imported Mesh body to a Solid body. Then I am combining that body with another body created from sketch.

All seems to be working fine. Except, I noticed in Task Manager that my second drive (4TB HDD) is wokring/running at 100% capacity. My CPU usage is below 10%.

My guess is that Fusion360 is using "Documents" folder (which is located on that 4TB HDD) for something. Some kind of temporary files ? Cached files ? No idea.

How do I make Fusion360 stop using the second drive (4TB HDD) and start using the third drive (4TB NVMe SSD) instead ?

If you open up resource monitor, instead of task manager, then you can go to Disk Activity, and you'll be able to see the exact directory/path that is being accessed. At a guess, there will be some local temp files within the %appdata% folder that'll be used. But that is only a guess.

@BWENGUK , thank you for the tip.  I will check it. But question remains the same: how do I change it in Fusion360 settings ? How do I change path and tell Fusion to use one drive instead of the other ?

In theory, if you've already changed the temp folder location via environmental properties, then Fusion should use that location. So will be intrigued to see what it is accessing on resource monitor.
