Fusion UI gets stuck a LOT

This is extraordinarily frustrating. I'm left with no recourse but to force-quit Fusion. All I did, in this case, was click to see why it wouldn't generate a tool path. That got it into a mode where the ANCIENT Mac black&white wait cursor appears, but only when hovering over the CAM browser. Any click results in a beep sounds indicating the click is not allowed. And nothing I do regains control of the UI. See this movie:

Hi @JetForMe,

Thanks for sharing this. I´m curious what could have caused this freezing.

Could you please share the log files and a Public Link of your design?

I would like to reproduce the issue here on my MacBook Pro.

Thank you,

Hi @JetForMe,

Thank you for sharing the log files and your design.

Yes, I haven´t been able to reproduce the issue but I could see that the

error is pointing to network connection issue caused by a unsupported browser application.

Could you please install Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and check if you can login to A360 without any issue?

Thank you,

I don't see how which browser I'm using has anything to do with it. I use Safari, and I can log in just fine to the website, but this is a problem with the Fusion 360 macOS app, not the web.

Same here. Beeping when I try to click anywhere. Can't save, cannot quit. Have to force quit and lose my work.

As I have found suggested online, it is possible a dialog/window is open and I am unable to respond to it.

This happened to me today, extremely frustrating. Nothing I did, like repeatedly hitting Esc fixed it. Also tried showing all windows and no other related window was open. All options in the meny were greyed out.

As a last resort before doing a force quit I tried pressing Cmd-S, which was a success! I got prompted for a comment and then it saved my work and almost started working normally again. Afterwards various UI components were not rendered properly though, like the toolbar, browser and navigation bar. Most of them turned up after doing eg View -> Hide Toolbar and then View -> Show Toolbar but then disappeared after a while again. Everything seems to be fine after a restart, at which point I also got a message stating that Fusion 360 had been updated, perhaps related?
