Fusion Team Hub Onboarding does not show single-user storage

(Sidenote: This is my first time posting here, and I have attempted to click on the "See the complete submission guidelines" link at the top of this "Post To The Forum" page. However when I do so, I am taken to a page saying: "Access Denied You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.", so I apologise for not following etiquette/guidelines as well as I might.)

Hello

I am attempting to follow the guide here to migrate all my projects from my single-user storage to a newly created Team (of which I am the only member). I am only doing this as Fusion 360 now shows my team in the top-left corner, and Autodesk has named my Single-User Storage incorrectly - I have one of those "Mc" names that has a capital letter in the middle of a word - and a search of the forums suggests it is not possible to have my name corrected.

When following the steps I am directed to the Fusion Hub Team Onboarding page but when I arrive, my single-user storage does not appear on the left (Projects to move), only the new-but-empty team I recently created.

This seems to be different from the expected options on the page as I read and understand the instructions. Perhaps there is a bug?

I would appreciate help to migrate, to rename my personal storage or to address this potential bug. I do not wish to have a misspelled name permanently on display should I wish to work on any of my existing projects.

I am on a PC, and am using Chrome browser.

I will embed snips below of the Fusion 360 Teams drop-down and the page I see when visiting the Team Hub Onboarding page.

Kind regards,

Daniel McCusker

Thanks for using Fusion. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

It is weird that your SUS hub is not listed in the Transfer projects portal. Is that something you don't have any transferrable projects (Projects you are admin/not the shared projects)??

Can you actually share the snap of the SUS hub? just to see how your data looks, and see if there is anything that is causing this discrepancy.

Sure. Here's a snip from the root of the storage:

And a snip from within my "Main Project Stash" showing a few of my projects.

Also here's a snip from within Fusion 360 of the same stash.

Thanks for sharing. my bad, I should have been more clear on asking the snaps about the Teams drop down or Teamswitcher list (in web and Fusion360) just to see how many teams you are part of/own.

In the web interface, click on the DM (your profile icon) and see if you have another team you own/part of.

If not first we may have to create a team and then transfer.

Only what I mentioned in my initial post: A team I made whilst following the instructions to migrate my single-user storage, and the personal storage itself:

Now maybe you can switch to the one myhub.autodesk360.com and then click on the "Transfer" on the Project.

Proceed to the Team you wish to transfer this Project. which does the same in onboarding.

FYI.. the action you are making is irreversible.

Please try and let us know how it works.

Nope. I did try this way in addition to the onboarding site earlier. Here's a snip showing there is no "transfer" option.

That looks a little weird on why the project doesn't have this option.

As a workaround, can you create a new project first and see if you have a Transfer button to that. If the new project created has the option to transfer to the team. Then we can move the files and folders from "Main Project Stash".

Nope. That new project also does not provide the option to transfer

That's really weird, I can do it on my web page. Not sure why is that discrepancy only to you. is it possible to invite me to your newly created test project? I can check if there is something with the account or with the hub.

I added you to the empty team "Dan's Team", but I don't know of any way to add you to my single-user storage, which is where all of my designs are. I have shared the project with you as a collaborator, though.

Thanks, Dan for sharing. I can actually see the Project with Transfer button. See below.

Screenshot 2021-06-14 at 1.03.50 PM.png

i cant archive the project for the obvious reason that i am not the Project admin/owner.

Please DM me if you wanted me to do the needful transfer.

Yes please. If you are able to tranfer to the Dan's Team group, I will check to see if everything has arrived and then I can archive things myself from that point.

Cheers,

Daniel

Sure, just make a copy of the content inside the project. I will move and you can Archive/Delete the Project once you confirm the data transfer is successful.

Hi Sasi.

I've made a copy in my Single-user storage.

Will the transfer erase the version history of each item? I noticed that when I created a copy, all the copied designs reset to v1, and I wasn't able to access earlier iterations the same as I can in my main project.

I've added you as a contributor to the copy version as well.

Daniel,  Thank you for bringing this to my attention.  Can you share a link or screenshot of this for me, I'd like to check the links, and fix them if they are broken.

Hi there!

Sure. This is the page where you post to the forum:

daniel_0-1623843527918.png

and when I click "See the complete submission guidelines >" I get directed to https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/community-faq/etiquette-and-ground-rules/td-p/5384757 which looks like this:

I hope that helps!

You mention "Main Project Stash". What is a Stash. Is it another name for a project?
