Fusion reporting some ops "not permitted with my license"?

I get the error "Error: Your license does not allow generating operations using option "XY circular hole" for parameter "Probe Type". on several probing ops. This worked fine yesterday, and I haven't received any notifications that my license has changed, nor can I find evidence of that when I look at my account online. I am on an educational license.

What gives?

Hi @markaudacity,

I saw this myself yesterday and have made an internal ticket to investigate. But I didn't think too much of it as we have strange licences being employees. But now you as a customer has seen this I'll put some pressure on to investigate.

I couldn't re generate. But I could just re-make the item.

I didn't try duplicating but its worth a go.

Let me know how you get on. If you can share the project then that would be really useful.

I would, but currently Fusion has decided it is unable to launch, a behavior it often exhibits during the somewhat-less-than-smooth process of an automatic upgrade. Will upload the file once Fusion is done updating and will re-launch.

Confirmed that re-creating the ops does not trigger the same error. The original ops still show the error quoted in my first post and cannot be regenerated.

Project is attached anyway, in case it helps.

ADDITIONAL DATA: apparently a change in the model resulting in the loss of a geometry reference is what triggered this issue. With one of the original ops that gave the permissions error, re-selecting the correct geometry resulted in proper regeneration.

Hi @markaudacity,

Yes you are correct, its the fact that its lost the original geometry so cannot re generate the strategy. We are displaying the wrong error message though, we have a task in to fix this to make it clear what's going on.
