Fusion on Mac M1 stops working after first use

Hi,

I have the following error message. The message or other problems does not appear during the first start of Fusion. After closing and reopening the error comes up and Fusion gets stuck opening the project browser after clicking OK. Only removing Fusion and new installation seems to solve this problem - for the first start of the new installed Fusion, than the problem starts again. It is important to note that I do not have a user "Jenkins" on my Mac!

My system: Mac Book Pro, M1, 16GB RAM, macOS Monterey.

Any idea?

JM

@j.magerkurth Can you please provide us with the following information?

1. While launching Fusion 360 press Cmd+Shift. This will launch the Fission service utility (if not look in launchpad and you should see Fusion service utility)

2. Gather system information and attach the zip files it generates here.

3. In this can you also do a repair and see if that fixes your issue?

Hi,

It looks like I was able to solve the issue. On the computer was a backup directory with a mirrored home directory, including an application directory with an older Fusion version. Despite I was using the up-to-date version in the users application folder, Fusion was interfering with the program files and/or data in the backup directory. Deleting the old Fusion version in the backup solved the issues. @Anonymous, could you please have an option in your utility to search the computer for other/older Fusion directories outside of the application directory on the Mac and give warning?

@Rajkuma please find the log files attached
