Fusion Manage Extension and Configured Designs

1. Hello Everyone!

As I’m really new to Autodesk Fusion and Manage Extension I would like to reach out to the community hoping to find some guidance or workaround…

The problem I’m currently facing is that with our current system we utilise configured designs, with parametrisation of certain dimensions of the models. However, as it happens, Manage Extension seems not to work with CDs, only with standard designs. 

So how do you work around that restriction?

Hi @t_trembinski 

Configurations is supported by Manage Extension, but not in the context of the Configured Designs.  Configurations can be managed in assemblies where they are inserted.  Hope this helps.
