Fusion keeps jumping back to the front of the other applications when trying to change to a different one

Okay, I've reported this (as have others) in mutiple other threads, keeps being ignored, and I was asked to create a new thread. I know I'm not the only one seeing this. If you are on Mac and seeing related things, please keep them in other threads since it appears to blind Autodesk to the problem on Windows - thanks. If you are seeing this on Windows, please chime in!

This is on Windows 10, paid version of Fusion, everything is up to date. Working away in Fusion, with a windowed app (not fullscreen, not running from a browser like Edge or any others, the normal Fusion application). If I try and change to another application by clicking on its tab in the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen, the other application will come forward for a second then Fusion jumps back to the top of the stack again. Click on other appliction again, same thing happens.

Only way around it once it starts happening is to click on the descktop background, THEN click on the other application. Then it behaves. Till I go back to Fusion, and then try to bring another application forward again. At that point, same bug, Fusion pops itself back to the top.

This all seemed to start happening when Fusion tried to fix the opposite problem (which is still happening too, once in a while), where Fusion would send itself to the back behind another application when doing an operation that takes a few seconds.

It does not happen all the time, but seems to start doing it once I've been working for a while. REALLY annoying once it starts, breaks up the work flow severely.

Just brought up fusion, and went back in to the drawing I had been working on earlier. Managed to capture a screen video of this bug happening four times in a row. Don't know if being in Drawing mode has anything to do with this bug, its just what I was doing when it poped up again. What I did was move the cursor down to the taskbar and clicked on the file explorer to bring it forward. As soon as I move the mouse back up, it brough Fusion back forward all by itself, NO more clicking by me. Did this four times in a row in this video capture. It does not matter what other application I try and go to, it does the same thing!

Getting this problem as well on Windows 10 ive found if you open and close the browser tab on fusion it can sort it out for a minute or 2.

Thanks for the recording. If you can keep an eye out to confirm/deny that it is happening in other workspaces, that would be helpful. In the meantime I am trying to reproduce this on my end.

I notice you are using Open-Shell - it's probably not a factor, but have you tried disabling it once just to rule it out?

At the moment I am mainly working in the Drawing workspace, and see it there all the time. I'll do some tests in Model too, I don't think it happens there as much. Drawing, all the time.

Just turned off Open-shell, and that made no difference to the problem, still happens.

Oh man, I see it - something is aggressively pulling focus back to the cursor in this workspace.

Thanks for the report!

Is this just going to be fixed in the drawing environment? It happens in manufacturing/model environment without doing sketches as well. Pretty annoying.

Sometimes it's the whole program sometimes it's just one of Fusion's dialogue boxes.

On MacOS. Been like this for the past 6 years on both Intel and Apple Silicon

I have this even on a fresh paid install on a new computer running win11pro. It seems to even affect the ability to type in the fusion search bar or rename files when a drawing was the last interaction with fusion

I recently updated my machine from Windows 10 to Windows 11, and the problem is still there, so it is not definitey not just a Win-10 issue (when I first posted on this issue I was on 10). Really hope it gets fixed soon, been putting up with this for a LONG time.
