Fusion hangs on startup for one of two accounts

Hi there!

I have a strange issue. When I launch Fusion 360 and sign into my work account, it loads right away, but if I sign out and try to sign into my personal account, it hangs after i enter the two factor authentication. I've tried this from a fresh install as well as deleting the LoginState.xml and NMachineSpecificOptions.xml files.

Is there maybe something wrong with my account?

anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks for using Fusion and sorry for the inconvenience.

May I know if this happens the other way as well, like userA log in >signout and user B > sign in, Fusion hangs. Does it happen in vice versa or to any other accounts if you have?  I don't think it is specific to the account.

However, you can give it a try to alter other performance settings in Fusion, the article here might help.

HI!

thank you for your reply.

I only have 2 accounts and I've tried signing in and out of both accounts multiple times. I can only sign into account B. Anytime I try to sign into account A, it hangs and I have to delete the LoginState.xml and NMachineSpecificOptions.xml files so I could sign into account B again.

3rd times a charm... i guess. I followed these manual uninstall instructions and took some liberties with some of the naming since it file and folder names didn't match the instructions.  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

I can now sign into both accounts!
