Fusion Crashing going to drawing tab

Every time I got to the drawing tab in my model fusion locks up.  I'm occasionally able to get in after a long period.  The parts I'm trying to dimension in the drawing are very simply (rectangular blocks), from a somewhat complicated design.  I'm mostly able to do everything else (CAD CAM) in this design without it locking up.

Diagnostic files are attached.

Hi @paulmcevoy75
I took a look at the logs and unfortunately they don't say much at the time of the hang. It looks the same as if you went idle/walked away from the computer.
Can you tell me more about how far you have gotten in the drawing? Did this just start when you began adding dimensions to the drawing or has this happened since the drawing was first created?
Can you tell me if there is a CPU spike for Fusion use in Task Manager when the hang happens?

Hi there

A friend on a forum suggested the reason is because it's a very simple small part but at the end of a very long design with a lot of components, so that fusion needs to compute all the prior components before it gets to this one?

Sorry the log is probably from the wrong time, forget about it.

It was going from the design tab to the Drawing tab with just a little rectangular stock piece "heel stock".  I just wanted to make a drawing of it to prepare the stock.  I had the same problem with one of the prior components "neck stock".

I'm attaching the model here.  I ended up exporting the stock as a new component to make a drawing in a new file but that wasn't ideal.

I don't think its the calculation of the design, I turned the timeline off and had the same issue. It does seem like its something in the design itself though. I am trying to narrow down if there is a specific body or something.

I made a separate component as a new file for the heel stock so I could make a drawing of it, and then saved the drawing.

Oddly enough when I went to open the drawing it also locked up fusion and I had to restart.

Hmm I have been able to significantly speed up the drawing time by completely deleting the component Body1 but I can't figure out why. Trying to get it dialed down to a specific body in there.  I haven't had any issues reopening drawings after creating them for this test though, I will see if I can replicate that.

Hey @paulmcevoy75 I just wanted to let you know that I was able to narrow down the bodies a bit but it still didn't explain why the file is acting this way so I made a ticket with our Drawings team to investigate further.
