Fusion can't connect to the internet - tried everything

Hello all,

unfortunately I have for some time now trouble with Fusion and its connection to the internet.

I uninstalled and installed it, reseted Fusion and I am quite confident, that everything should work.

This is the result of the network test:

The mcmaster page can be accessed via browser, so I am having trouble to understand what the problem is here.

No antivirus software should block Fusion. I created the log-files, maybe there is some helpful information in them.

If more information is necessary to identify the problem, I would gladly provide that.

Kind regards

Moritz

@moritz_schaefleQNA7M Thank you for the logs. We will check this. In the meantime couple of tests for me please.

1. Connect to a different network (your mobile hotspot maybe) and see if you experience the same ? 2. Restart your router and see if that makes a difference.

@RajkumarIlanchelianThank you for your reply.

The two test you suggested unfortunately did not make a difference. The problem persists.

Kind regards

I have this exact same issue and when trying to install the client downloader it says

SSL Failed to verify the server certificate.

I have been through all the help with tech support and they passed me to this forum where I have 2 created threads and no responses.

@moritz_schaefleQNA7M @evanss801 Pardon my delay to respond. Can you please try the below if you are still experiencing the problem?

1. Close Fusion
2. Go to  C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Identity Services\idservices.db

Can you delete the iservices.db file and then restart Fusion?

@moritz_schaefleQNA7M Can you please run another quick test?

On the windows machine create another user and install Fusion on that user account. Does that cause the same problem?

I managed to get this fixed myself with help from our Local authority IT services by tracing any blocks that happened through the internet filtering service.
