Fusion 360 won't open files

I have been experiencing issues with Fusion the past few days. I am working on a guitar I plan on making while at university.
I use the student license version of the application.
A few days ago, I was joining potentiometer parts to my guitar body I have designed when the application froze, I was still able to save the file thankfully as this has sometimes happened in the past.
When reopening Fusion, it came up with a blank unsaved file as usual, but I was unable to move the orientation cube, and I couldn't select a sketch plane to draw on, and when opening previous files, it would then open the title, but stay on the blank work space.
This has happened before to me, usually if I don't close the app before shutting my laptop down, so I didn't think much of it and restarted and updated my laptop as I thought that might have been the issue because normally that is what fixes the issue.
That did not resolve the issue, so I checked if Fusion needed updating but it doesn't seem to be. I have redownloaded Fusion multiple times, and repaired it from the Service Utility Menu and the same issue still happens, three days after the first issue.
I don't want to reset my Fusion 360 just in case it doesn't fix my issue but I feel like I'm running out of options.
I must also say that the potentiometer files I have used were STEP files from GrabCAD, so I'm not sure if that may have done something to Fusion.
My laptop is a Lenovo Legion 5 with AMD Radeon Graphics card (my laptop doesn't preface which graphics card in the about device section of my settings) with a Ryzen 7 5800H processor, and 16.0GB of RAM, and usually runs Fusion incredibly well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm at a loss at the moment.
