Fusion 360 web deploy error and data panel blank

Hi there,

Ive been using fusion 360 for a year or more now, and every couple of weeks to a month or so, I get the same error message when fusion 360 boots up, and then i have nothing on my data panel and I have to do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Fusion to resolve the issue.

The problem is 1, that takes up alot of time i could be using to design parts at work, and 2, it has stopped resolving the issue. Now when I do that, and it reloads, I get the same error message and have no data panel.

It wouldnt be too bad if i could manually save my files to my computer as well as the cloud.

Any help in resolving would be appreciated!

I would be one of those .exe's is malicious. Have you tried running a virus scan? I've had good success with Malwarebytes in previous cases. Below is a link a good thread on the Malwarebytes forum:

https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/181495-syswow64regsvr32exe-contacting-malicoius-website/

I have a regsvr32.exe in my syswow64 folder as well, for what its worth.

I hope this helps!

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for the response! I noticed on my PC that the regsvr32.exe file resided in the C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64 path, but not within a subfolder at that path. I have included a screenshot of how my files appeared below:

Are any of the regsvr32 files at this exact location on your end? I would also be curious if the files appear to be about the same size (20 kB) as mine - it could be that some malware is disguised as a windows executable. Could you share a screenshot like the one above of what you are seeing on your end?

@Anonymous Have you tried run Malwarebytes or some anti-virus software to see if it finds any malware on your system? I think that is the easiest solution if you haven't tried this yet.

Which process deleted the adcewebbrowser.exe file in the procmon logs?

I am having this SAME exact error I believe. It happened RIGHT AFTER the newest install/update. I run Malwarebytes and currently have Symantec closed down because it was giving me issues on something else.

Fusion has nothing in panel..and wont connect and shows this on start up..

Well ok then. I ran the Diagnostic log file...Went to restart Fusion to get the EXACT message...and now it seems to work and says I am all set with the newest update???? WTF?

So yeah. No idea. But the OP ...try this. May have just been some weird glitch for us.

Ive had no luck resolving the issue on my computer, and have just started clicking through the error message and saving anything I design to my computer via archive
