Fusion 360 Rendering on its own?

Hi ,

When in the Rendering environment, Fusion 360 will often start renders off on its own. I am getting tired of having to go through and delete them.

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks,

James

hi IJamesBond,

hmm, that's sounds a bit annoying.  can you provide a bit more detail of when/how this is happening?  maybe a screencast recording or a screen shot of what you're seeing and having to delete?  if it's a frequent and repeating behavior it's likely a bug we'll need to investigate.

we do initially render your default views (Top, Front, Right, Home) but this should happen in the background and not interrupt your workflow at all.

hope this helps,

Hi Jamie,

It would be very hard to pinpoint a time when this happens as it is random
and can happen at any time. Can I ask why does Autodesk take render grabs?

Next time it happens I'll write down the details of the grabs and send you a
screengrab. Best I can do.

Kind Regards,

James Bond

hi IJamesBond,

this may help out a bit.  Any rendering that you've done and is in your rendering gallery will auto render on every save, if they or in the auto render bin.  The intention is that you may have renderings you always want kept up to date.

We have found, however, that the experience of how this works is cumbersome and are looking at ways to improve it.

In the meantime I hope this is helpful.

hope this helps,

Hello,

On a similar vein as @IJamesBond (but in the opposite manner): Fusion doesn't make any automatic renders upon opening the Render workspace. Is there a certain setting or way I can change this (to get automatic renders)?

Thank you,

Benjamin
