Welcome to the Community.  For a chance to see what may be coming in future releases of Fusion, I suggest looking at the Fusion Insiders Group.  Good luck!

Fusion already runs on Windows 11 on ARM64 via the existing XtaJIT64 translation layer available - you do not need to wait for Prism.

That said, Fusion has not yet been certified nor fully tested with Windows on ARM by Autodesk, so I personally cannot yet recommend ARM64 Windows devices for mission-critical work as of writing.

Is there any performance difference between fusion running on windows 10 and windows 11 on arm64, I’m asking because I need fusion for school and I’m considering a laptop with an arm chip because of battery life but if it can’t run fusion it’s a deal breaker

Pre thanks

@jeppe_ersgaa are you asking about Win 10 x86_64 and Win 11 ARM64? You cannot get a new ARM device with Windows 10, and it does not have the x86_64 compatibility layer in any case, but I just wanted to confirm.

If you are eager to run Fusion on ARM64 Windows, it will run. However, we are not testing and certifying for this platform just yet, so in the event you encounter any bugs as a result of running on the compatibility layer, there won't be much we can do to help in the short term.

No updates to share at this time. That said, these are the types of things that would be first announced under NDA to our Insider program, which anyone with a Fusion license can join. If you want to be among the first to hear about these sorts of things, please consider joining the program.
