Such slow response times usually mean Fusion 360 attempts to provide a solution, but encounters difficulties due to inadequate geometry.

 

In this case the cylinder / circle has the same diameter as the witdh of the box. A rolling ball fillet would not have a crease to roll in as it approached the center of the fillet I have highlighted with the arrow. In that area the crease needed to create a fillet will be zero, so the tool fails ... after trying to far too long to find a solution .

A proper fillet for such geometry is much more work in this case than clicking on an edge and filleting.

Also, please note that for lofts that have tangent inputs the keep tangent edges should be selected:

It is indeed much faster !

I have yet to try it on other models.
