Fusion 360 loading error

Hi guys,

Been using Fusion360 for a few years now, but recently it has been unable to load correctly.

The splash screen loads up, then when the splash disappears, the Autodesk window is open, but the entire contents of the window are empty / just shaded light grey.

I get no errors, and no menu available. It's as is the toolbars are there, but not displaying for some reason.

Ive tried uninstalling, and re / downloading and installing , and the same thing happens?

Was working around the 20th Nov, and then end of Nov it just stopped.

Any more advice?

Nick

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! I've seen this grey screen a few times.

Often, the fix is a fresh installation of Fusion 360. When you uninstalled and reinstalled, did you use the clean uninstall tool at this link? If not, please give it a try.

Another factor could be your graphics drivers. I usually need to update my drivers about twice a year - are you certain you are using the most recent version of the drivers for your system?

We could also try to delete the Loginstate.xml file, which may resolve this problem. You can use the instructions below to find and delete the loginstate.xml file:

  • (Close Fusion 360) In windows explorer browse to %localappdata%\autodesk\web services
  • In the Web Services directory, right lick on the LoginState.xml file and select delete
  • Restart Fusion 360

Hopefully this helps! If you continue to experience problems, please gather your log files and send them to me at paul.clauss@autodesk.com - I am happy to have a look.
