Fusion 360 keeps crashing after recent update

I have been using Fusion 360 on my current machine (W10) for the last 3 years without any issues. But after recent update, some of the more heavier files (both designs and drawings) which I was able to open before, do not open and instead Fusion crashes. I have gone through the forums, have reset, repair and even clean uninstalled and re-installed Fusion 360. But it has not solved the issue. Windows is fully updated, so is my graphics card driver. Attached is the is screenshot of the error I get.

What I have observed is that the issue happens when the green loading bar on the bottom right is trying to load 'CAM data'

Nothing to contribute other than I've got the same issue but I'm on a M1 Mac.  It looks like you are on a windows machine.  I saw a few other posts about clean uninstall/reinstall which I've done, but 90% of the files they indicated to delete on the Mac weren't there anyways.  Hopefully they release a fix soon.  I would get about 10-15 crash report windows pop up, even after I force quit the app.  I submitted most of those.

Yes, I am on Windows. Have sent crash reports as well.

Just wondering if there is a way to revert back to previous update?

This last update has slowed down the whole CAM space by maybe 40%? I'm running on a very fast compy 11thgen i9 5ghz with the paid-for version of CAM/manufacturing. It has been slowing down as the projects grow in complexity but this update really hit us hard lol. Still grateful for the CAM space, but I was hoping they would start bringing more processing power to CAM instead of less!loljk

I've tried to search for ways to revert to the previous version and I have found none.  Everything I have found talks about how to revert to a previous version of a drawing.  I actually asked that question in several of my crash reports.

Hello,

I have several files with the same issue. Will not load, fusion crashes when trying to load. On windows 10.

I have tried 4 or 5 older files and no luck opening.

I have files which are of similar size, 2 open up, one of them doesn't. I have further models where these are files referenced and these do not open either.

urgently need a fix. bloody automatic updates, this is the 2nd time I've had issues with this in 4 months. It cost me about a week of redoing drawings last time. looks like I'll have to re-start the models which is horrific at this stage of the project as have approval and about to go into production, but don't have a model!

Every single time that Fusion is updated it starts crashing. I'm on a 16" MacBook Pro and this has to be the buggiest software that I have ever used. And I can only assume that it's due to being cloud based. If I had not already purchased a yearly subscription, I might have considered going with SolidWorks.

update to version 2.0.13162 has cured the crashing. Hooray!

Apologies for the rant, beginning to panic about having to re-model a load of work!

Yes, I just updated as well and files are opening without crashing. Relieved!

I am not seeing an update beyond 2.0.13158, but the crashing stopped for me late Wednesday afternoon. Either Fusion360 is done with it's 3 year old tantrum and cried itself to sleep or they pushed something in the background without changing the version number.

Same issue here.  New MacBook Pro, completely up to date.  The latest build crashes 8+ times on every launch.  The again periodically while using the software.  Every time, multiple crash reports.  It's basically unusable at the moment.

On my machine it's just the same problem, and it seems as if there is no solution coming.

So fusion 360 is unusable.

I worked too a very long time with Fusion 360 and was never faced with problems like that.

Sorry autodesk, this software isn't worth to pay for.

M1 Rosetta user here, tried to open Fusion 360 just now... crash. Doesn't even make it to the loading screen. Any solutions? I'm up against a fast evaporating deadline here! Help!
