You will need to post your Fusion 360 log files.  If you do not know how to collect them, take a look at this article.

@Silvmdg01 Are you launching from a desktop shortcut? If so, can you try this: 

  1. Delete the current Fusion 360 shortcut. 
  2. Open the Fusion service utility See How to launch the Fusion 360 Service Utility
  3. Run Repair Fusion 360. 
  4. This will take the version to the latest and also generate a new shortcut. Use this new shortcut to launch Fusion.

My guess based on your logs is that your shortcut is stuck launching an older version of Fusion but the newer update has already downloaded and is not being launched, so it fails to recognize that an update is available.
