Fusion 360 in a Web Browser

My student users have all 2 factor authentacion enabled and the students who get a phone signal get their code and Fusion 360 works fine.  For my users who have an e-mail code they put their code in and Fusion 360 opens in a web browser which has no functionality.

Anyone have an idea as to why the code launches a web Fusion 360 instead of the installed Fusion 360 ?

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! I'm unsure of why the phone and email verifications would give different results, but have reached out to the team to see if anyone has ideas.

I would like to nail down some specifics:

  • Where are the students accessing Fusion from? Where do the students experiencing the problem click before they are routed to the web version of Fusion 360? Screenshots may be helpful here.
  • It sounds like students who used the phone verification can access Fusion 360 - can they access both the web and desktop versions with no errors?
  • Students who used the email verification cannot access the browser version of Fusion 360, but do they have any problems if they open the desktop application manually and sign into their accounts?

Hopefully this helps us get started! I look forward to hearing from you.
