Fusion 360 hangs on extrude

I was working on a model of an old cadillac fleetwood and finished the back, but when I extruded the front face (flat face with the largest area on the model) fusion stopped and was unresponsive for about a minute, and it kept hanging for every step after that. I'm running fusion 360 on a asus zenbook pro duo, i7 32gb ram, 4GB Nvidia RTX 2060.

Your sketches are poorly dimensioned or constrained which will lead to Fusion 360 slowness.  Also the indicated extrusion is missing a profile, again this will cause Fusion 360 to have issues when it tries to solve this extrusion over and over.  Go back, clean up your model and pay closer attention to good modeling practices, I think you will see better results.

Thank you for your reply, I'm relatively new to Fusion 360 and I'm always eager to learn more.

Could you be more specific with what you mean by "clean up"? If you could point me towards an article or YouTube playlist that would be much appreciated!
