Fusion 360 freezes when trying to export

Anonymous

Follow up to error report CER_183976395:

Fusion 360 freezes or crashes whenever I attempt to export a design, regardless of format (e.g. .stl, .step, etc). This is a new error (encountered since start of November 2018), and includes historical designs that I have previously been able to export in a variety of formats.

Any ideas on what the problem may be?

Hey @Anonymous,

Is this issue with any file? Such as a brand new design?

Dear Ryan,

Thanks for such a quick response.

No, I can no longer export any file, including both new designs and historical designs that I have previously been able to export in a variety of formats (typically as .step or .stl).

Hey @Anonymous,

There isn't a Zip file attached to your post.

Apologies Ryan,

I seem to have one attached in my Sent email folder for this thread.

I have re-attached the .zip folder to this email. Please let me know if the problem with it not showing up on your end persists and I will try an alternative means of sending.

Best wishes,

Jon

You'll need to open the thread and reply/attach here rather then in email.

I'm not seeing anything crazy in there. Have you tested uninstalling and reinstalling?

Yes, uninstalling and reinstalling Fusion 360 using the Fusion 360 Cleaner utility seems to have done the trick.

Thanks for your input.
