Fusion 360 Drawing Title Block Bug Feb 2022

Hi all,

Came across a bug this morning whilst working on some drawings after updating to the latest version of Fusion 360.

The issue is that upon hitting 'create drawing' on a part the attributes in my title block appear to be duplicated and overlaying each other.

This means that if I change one of the auto attributes, like the scale because I have rescaled a projection, two scales will overlay each other, the original scale and the scale I have rewritten.

The issue can be overcome by hitting 'change title block' in the browser then switching to another title block and switching back as you can see in the screenshots but the extra step is a slight inconvenience.

There could be something I'm missing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Luke

Hi @Luke_Parf

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Please could you send us your F2T template to have a look at?

You can attach the F2T file here, or if it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

For anyone following this thread. The team is having a look into the root cause. But the quick fix for this, was to delete and re-insert the offending Attributes into the title block.

Problem when using the title block editing mode (i.e. double click on the title block to edit fields).  For example, when entering required text if I used the D, C, and or other letters that just happen to be shortcut keys it would eject me from the editing tool and go to that shortcut key function.  Very frustrating when trying to type simple text.

Hi @aaronpowter

This is a totally different issue, but one that I'd like to try to help you with.

Please can you send me your template or any existing drawing to have a look at? You can attach a link to the drawing file here, or if it is sensitive, feel free to send it directly to me Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

Also, please let me know if you are running Windows or a Mac.

G'day Clint.  Yeah sorry about posting my comment / problem here.  It's really hard to navigate where to put your concerns on these F360 forum posts.  No idea how to attach the F3Z file.  However, here's the URL link: https://a360.co/3y4Vt3O  It's nothing important, just a simple project we do with our high school engineering students.

Regards, Aaron

Hi @aaronpowter

No problem at all. I just tested it, and it works fine on my end, I am running the latest build which went live today (maybe yesterday, depending on location).

See the GIF above. Note that towards the end, with no attribute selected, I am able to use the "s" shortcut. But if you are editing an attribute, they work as expected.

Hope that this helps!
