Fusion 360 Can't switch to online mode?

My fusion 360 was running in offline mode for the past few weeks, but now when it tries to automatically go on line this this happens and it just shuts down. Is there any way for me to fix this?

I've already uninstalled and reinstalled  fusion 360 but this issue still persists, also A360 does not seem to be working on my computer if that's related.

I'am running this on windows 10 too.ErrorPic2.PNG

Hello,

Thanks for posting. This error pops up while there is lack of an internet connection needed to validate the Autodesk Account. Fusion 360 needs to connect to the internet once in every 2 weeks. So, Please check the internet connection first. If it the connection is ok, then let us know.

I would like to point out that if someone is able to post a question here about this issue, then their internet connection is, in all likelihood, just fine. Mine is too and I still get this exact error as well. Can you perhaps provide some alternate troubleshooting to resolve this issue?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Sorry to hear that you are still facing the problem.

Please can you try the following and see if it helps?

  1. Do you have any antivirus running onto your system? If yes, can you try disabling it.
  2. Launch Fusion 360.
  3. Sign out and Sign in again.
  4. Try going to online mode manually by going to clock icon next to the profile name at top right corner.
  5. If you still face the problem then try changing the properties for the following Folder by right-clicking Autodesk, selecting properties, and un-checking "hidden" and setting "Read-Only" permission.

  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk

Note: If the Autodesk folder is missing from AppData/Local, then it is most likely hidden, and hidden folders are not enabled. Enable hidden folders (Windows)  - and then follow the instructions above.

If you still face the problem then can you kindly supply your log file by following the procedure mentioned here.

Thanks and Regards,
