Frequent Freezing and Crashing in Drawing Space

I experience very, very poor and slow performance in the drawing space and frequent crashes.

I will estimate a 1/100 chance of fusion crashing during input of any text, comment, dimension, or property. and a 1:10 chance of fusion crashing renumbering balloons. When working actively within the drawing space this means a crash and loss of work at least once every hour.  I am getting very tired of this.

Is there a way for me to prevent crashing? I feel like it is like Russian roulette for every click I make.

I cannot share any files because it is confident material, it is the same for all drawings. Small or large.

Hi @anders.blombergZUYWX ,

Sorry to hear that you are facing an issue. Can you please help us with the following information?

Since when are you getting such crashes?

Which build are you using? (Please note the latest Fusion version is 2.0.10253). Please try updating a build if you are not using latest one.

Since you can not share the files, please share the diagnostic logs.

Thanks,

Hi @anders.blombergZUYWX

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. We sent out a hotfix yesterday that should address some of the issues that you mention, if you could update Fusion and let us know if this resolves the issue, that would be great.

Would you be able to share the dataset with me via email? If you can share it, you can send it to me here: Clint. Brown {a} Autodesk.com

If you are seeing crashes and are submitting CER's we will see them. Do you have any error report numbers that we can look at specifically?

Drawing Space has always been unstable for me. For well over two years I have been using fusion.

Could this problem be hardware related? I do not have this crashing problem on my private PC on hobby license

Hi @anders.blombergZUYWX

We have your diagnostics now, thank you. The development team is doing some analysis and will come back to you by email.

In terms of hardware, you could have a look at your graphics setup. There's a tool in Fusion that shows your system setup, you are also able to go directly to the graphics card manufacturer to check for the latest driver.

Hi @anders.blombergZUYWX ,

Since Fusion works better on your personal PC and you have these problems on your work PC, did you tried to configure your anti-virus to work better with Fusion 360?
