Hello I just downloaded fusion 360 for personal use. Every time I try to launch the program it crashes and says (expired subscription) and keeps saying I have a sign in failure. My laptop has all the specs needed to run fusion 360, but it just won't launch it and I don't know where to start with trouble shooting this issue.

@Boomtownfab We can certainly help you out here. I need to understand what is happening here a bit more.

I saw that you posted that it shows expired subscription, won't launch and crashes. I am not sure which of these happens for you. Can you give a bit more of the sequence that is happening?

You launch, it asks for your login, you login , then it shows expired status and crashes?

So here’s what happens:

I close down the program, go to the icon on my desk top and double click to start it up. It then asks me to login with my credentials so I do that. It starts to load with that white screen and then up in the top right corner it will say in parentheses (not responding) then the parentheses will change to (expired subscription-read only). After that it loads for a couple seconds more it then gives me an error notification sending me to a “help” link. Which I scrolled through the help page and it doesn’t give me any real path on how to fix anything.

@Boomtownfab Ok thank you. We can start to do some diagnostics to see what could be happening.

1. First is your machine connected to any external monitors or any 3d devices? If so can you disconnect them and see if that help?

2. If the above does not help, then (assuming you are on windows)

1. Close Fusion 360
2. Go to Add/remove program
3. Select Fusion 360
4. Select - Modify

This will launch the Fusion service utility

5. Now run the Reset Fusion option from here

Does this help?

If both of the above are not helping, can you go back into the fusion service utility and run the "Gather system info". This will generate two zip files. Please attach the diagnosticslogs.zip here.
