free trial period

Hi,

I am reading some conflicting information about the free version of fusion 360. I am a home hobbyist and will never make any money using fusion or the things I am designing on it. On the website I see there is a one year free trial period. However in the forum I read somewhere that you can renew this every year so effectively the program is free to use (as long as you do not use it professionally). However after googling a little, I noticed that this was true in the past but that is was not the case anymore. As a noticed the forum posts on the free renewal were old, I just wanted to check if this is indeed still the case or that you will now have to pay after one year. I will only have limited time to learn a new software (and it will be only as a hobby) so i prefer to know upfront if my investment in this problem will be worthwhile for a more prolonged period.

Thanks,

Maarten

Hi,

So with "qualifications must be met for renewel" I can understand that, as long as I fulfill the qualifications, I can renew the free licence on a yearly basis?

The language used on on  page you suggested is not as easy to understand for a non native English speaker.

Thanks

Yep! Its worded in the way of per term basis with the responsibility on the user to resubscribe one the term is met. There is not limit to terms so far as the qualifications remain met.
