Hello, with the new update, it seems for some reason I lost the ability to use fractions and the either "in" or the symbol ". I know it used to work.

has anyone encountered that?

I am assuming you are talking about the use of fractions and " symbol in the model sketch environment.  If that is the case, there seems to be no issue.  I am running Windows 10 operating system, Windows 7 users are experiencing some dimensional issues if you are one of them.  You should check to make sure your Preferences are set to Fraction display also.  Take a look at the Screencast.
