Fit to screen

Hi,

Even when in full screen I don't see my timeline at the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to fit Fusion 360 to my screen? I work with a 17 inches laptop. See attached screen capture.

Best regards

I just put this in your other thread.

@gillesht After the last update a couple of time I've had fusion start with a window that's taller than my screen so the timeline's off the bottom of the screen. What I had to do was select Restore then drag the window away from the top left corner then select Maximise. Just toggling Restore then Maximise before moving the window didn't work.

@gillesht  Looking at your screengrab it looks like the title bar is off the top of the screen as well!

EDIT the second time you press Alt+Space select M for Move.

Try this. Press Alt+Space then press R then Alt+Space again and press M then press the down arrow and the window  should jump to the mouse.

Hi,

I've attached a screen capture of Fusion 360 before I load my project.

Best regards.

First, don't attach pictures, just paste them into the message. This forum is not good as you can't view pictures and read the messages at the same time!

This is from your first picture and it shows you have history disabled so you will not see the timeline.

Does it work now? If not what do you see, can you show a full screen grab?

Thanks Mark

You don't have history enabled in that picture. You have to enable history per document by the way.

Hi,

How can you see from a screengrab that my history capture is off? Please look at the foolowing screnn grab.

On the last line you see Capturer l'historique de conception that french for Capture history.

You have it backwards.  If you have the Timeline showing, the line at the bottom of the context menu, when you right click on the top of the Browser, says "Do not capture Design History".  If you do not have the Timeline showing, it says "Capture Design History".

Also, set up your Fusion 360 Preferences to Capture Design History every time you start a model.   One last thought, if you still cannot see your Timeline.  Some laptops can be set to run in "Tablet Mode".  This is only available in Windows 10 but it could be interfering with your display.
