I've downloaded a 3d model of a spring and I now need the center axis of the helix in order to model a cylinder that the spring fits over. I've tried everything I can think of. Solutions i've found in the forum assume I have generated the helix, which I haven't. Accuracy isn't a great concern.
Any ideas?
