Files always fail to upload

Hi,

I've been having trouble uploading files into Fusion 360. Whenever I try and upload a file it is placed in the queue and appears to start to upload, but every file I have tried ends up showing a failed status. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Cheers

Hi @Anonymous ,

Sorry to hear that you are facing a problem in a file upload.

Please share the snapshot of 'failed status', it will help us to understand the situation better.

We also need to check if there is anything pending to upload.
Please share UploadQueuedFileList.xml  file with us for checking,
You can find this file at below location,

Mac

  • Macintosh HD > Users > (username) > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > (Lettered folder name) > W.Login

Windows

  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\(Lettered folder name)\W.Login\

This file has list of the file which are in the process of upload. It might be possible that one of those files got stuck in the upload. In that case, you can refer to below article.
Sharing for reference https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/File-...

Please help us with the above information, so that we can help you better!

Thank you,

I cant find the support folder in the location you described, could that be part of the problem? Would it be worth completely uninstalling and reinstalling fusion?

Hi @Anonymous :

As we discussed over email,

File upload was failing as you are using older version of Fusion. After Fusion update, the issue has been resolved.
Please let us know if you see Fusion is not getting auto-updates.

Thank you,
