file format for post processor

Hello,

I have a working post processor for Fanuc that has a .dat file format. I tried to upload it into F360, but apparently it needs to be a .cps file format. Any idea how I make that happen?

Thanks in advance,

Lee

Could it be as simple as saving a copy of the DAT file and changing the extension to CPS, it is worth giving it a try.  I am guessing they are both a form of text file.

Hello and thank you for the response,

I did try changing the extension and F360 would not recognize the file. I also tried downloading and opening a post processor from the autodesk website and deleting everything inside. Then copy and pasted the content from the .dat file into the .cps file that I downloaded and it has an error saying "invalid post processor".
