File Broken

hi there peeps, hope yall having a good day

I have a bus project i am working on, and I havent touched it much until recently. I opened the file and saved one of the components externally so I can send it off for a quote. I then went back to my file a few days later, to find that a lot of the bodies are missing, broken, and out of alignment. I now have over 800 bodies, when everything was organized and built right the first time I made it.  I tried going back in previous versions to see what the issue is, but all the previous versions have the same issue when I open it. Is there something that I am missing or I can do about it? It takes like 30 min to open up a file now.

Without having access to the model this is hard to answer. Did your model contain any meshes ?
