Failed generating file preview

Have been sent a fusion 360 file by email, have uploaded 5 times and each time it states “Failed generatin file preview. Try uploading again or contact us for further support.”

 

I cannot open the file. Please help.

I do not see any files attached.  You cannot attach files via email, you must use the Forum post.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

That’s the problem, I can upload it but I cant open it, the prompt that comes up on the screen states that fusion cant read the file at the moment, please try again later.

Try adding it to a zip file first, then attach it.
