F360 Refusing to Allow Window Switching

I've been getting frustrated often recently by this odd bug (across multiple devices with a range of hardware, all PC) where Fusion won't allow me to switch windows. Whether Alt-Tabbing or clicking on the taskbar icon for another window (Chrome, for example, to reference an email, or Acrobat to check something in a PDF), the screen will flash the desired window, but as soon as I try to interact, F360 will pop back up like it has priority.

This seems to happen in many circumstances, but especially when entering text in a field, which ironically is when I'm most frequently needing to confirm a material or spec in another window. Usually I try 3-4 times before I'm allowed to interact with the other application.

Thanks for the report @owenCL6FC. We have not experienced this on our end. Would you be able to include a recording and/or steps to reproduce? It may be dependent on what you were doing in Fusion at the time.

I can second this, I get this regularly, often have to drag fusion into another screen just to stop it hogging the screen.

It also happens when trying to take a screen grab using windows snip tool.

I'll admit that it isn't consistent, I'll try and record when it next happens.

I don't have a screen recorder on this machine (there's not much to see anyway, it just looks like I've alt-tabbed or something), but it just happened again:

>In the drawing workspace, on a new page, with nothing selected

>click Chrome icon on taskbar

>try to click on searchbar in Chrome

>F360 pops up instead as if I'd never switched applications

That's almost always my experience, though my most common circumstance is to application-switch while a textbox is active in the drawing workspace.

I'm amazed you are saying that you have not seen this on your end - it was reported a number of times months ago, and it was claimed to have been partially fixed a couple releases later. It still happened on and off since then, though in the latest release I'm noticing it all the time. If I switch to another application by clicking on it in the taskbar (windows 10), when I move the mouse in that other window Fusion pops back to the top again. Happens all the time here. I've found the only way to prevent it is to click on the Windows background, THEN switch to the other application. If it matters, I run Fusion in a non-fullscreen window, maybe you guys at Autodesk are always running fullscreen??
