Hello,

since a week or so F360 doesn't load on the right screen anymore. I use a 3 screen setup and before F360 always loaded correctly but now I need to reposition the F360 window each time I load F360 is there a solution to this ?

thanks,

Hans

Fusion usually launches on the same screen that it is closed in.
One thing you can try:

  1. Launch Fusion.
  2. Drag Fusion to your main desktop screen (if it is not already there) and close Fusion.
  3. Launch Fusion again and drag it to the screen you would like it to launch on in the future.
  4. Re-close the software.
  5. Launch Fusion one more time.
  6. Does it launch on the screen it was last closed on?

Hello,

thanks, that's indeed how it worked before, but no, now F360 always starts on the left screen even if I close it on the two others. Ans sometimes F360 opens on the whole screen and sometimes it just opens as a very small window. Strange as I never had any issues with this before.

What OS are you working on? And how are the monitors all connected?

Have you tried disconnecting the monitor setups to reset the connection with the main desktop?

I'm using Windows 10 64 bits and I'm using 3x DisplayPort cables in an RTX3080Ti card , but all worked perfectly before and all other apps memorise this setup without issues except Skype, never had any issues with F360 with so far. It started one or two weeks ago so I wonder if it might be because of an update ?

Didn't yet disconnect the setup will try that thanks

Okay, there was an update yesterday so if you haven't already, go ahead and install that to confirm it still happens.
Otherwise I think a good place to start would be to have you grab your Fusion 360 Diagnostic Log files.

My version seems to be V.2.0.13168 from Monday so that should be the latest version I think.

Okay I reached out internally and it sounds like this is a known issue being investigated by the development team. I don't have a timeline but usually a fix would be rolled out in a future update once they are able to resolve this.
