Extruding rounded corners with an edge.

I am trying to brace the corners and provide a screw hole for a lid.  I created an arc, but when I extrude it -20mm, it deletes the corner edges.  If I try and do without the edges selected, the extrusion does not go all the way into the corner.  Any assistance would be helpful, I am stuck.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?Set to Join rather than Cut.

Extrude will automatically default to cut when going into existing geometry.
